Native American Adolescent Mentorship Program

Need Volunteers for: mentoring middle school students from diverse background.
Expectations: Attend all Training, provide caring concern, travel to Pendleton for on site vistits (usually 2 times monthly), participate in NAAMP evaluation, record all visits, and be flexible.

Benefits: It’s fun, can make a difference in a young person’s life, you will learn another’s culture, and upper division credit is available.

American Red Cross: Seeking Emergency Disaster Action Team Members

Required skills include: Good communication; good organization, Ability to work with the Emergency Service Chairman as part of a committee in an individual or team capacity; Ability to work without supervision, willingness to attend training and meetings. This averages four hours a month which includes meetings, community relation time, strategy and training sessions, and the reading time required to keep up on the issues confronting the Red Cross locally and nationally.
